New workshop programme focusing on “Mobile Interactivity” at Kiosk Europe Expo 2010

DSX 2010 FINAL ARTWORK KIOSK EUROPE EXPO 2010 is proud to announce a new Workshop programme for this year’s event, focusing on the emerging and exciting trend of mobile interactivity to augment self-service and digital signage solutions in a wide variety of vertical markets.

This year’s Open Self-Service and Digital Signage Forum at KIOSK EUROPE EXPO 2010 will be further supported by a series of English and German workshop programmes covering the topic of “Mobile Interactivity”. Mobile interactivity workshops will take place in German on the afternoon of Tuesday 15th June and in English on the morning of Tuesday 15th June.

The Mobile Interactivity Workshop sessions will include discussions of how the mobile can be used to augment both self-service and digital signage installations and make them even more interactive. Talks in English include:

· "Customer Experience in revolutionary flagship stores & DOOH locations", John Jones, VP & ECD Retail, R/GA New York

· "Vodafone Cube – the most innovative deployment of mobile interactivity with digital signage so far?", Pedro Cardoso, Design Art Director, YDreams

· "Integrating the customer into the Digital Signage program with his iPhone", Sandy Schulze, Marketing Manager, Online Software

Experts from the Cattid NFC laboratory of Rome University, who will share lessons learnt from their mobile platform used to help tourists and citizens explore the cultural sights of Rome. The Cattid NFC laboratory of Rome University will also present their NFC platform at the Futures Parlour at KIOSK EUROPE EXPO 2010. Further talks will discuss the unprecedented opportunities mobile offers to self-service and digital signage, and how to best take advantage of these, as well as case studies of Vodafone own roll-out and an innovative German bank’s trial of mobile interactivity.
