Once again, we attend a show and we are nervous, anxious about the level of traffic, interest, projects. Once again, we are overwhelmed by the waves of visitors. Nationwide, from all the Americas, from all the continents. The market is alive. No, the market is not only alive, it is active more than ever before.
AND – the most important – it is maturing. Talks about various business models, discussions about each of the market players looking for their own niches, questions about next generation products. AND even more important: the endusers are here. The days are counted when DSE was a pure mingeling and networking show of an incestive industry where everyone knew everyone. There are new faces, there are new companies. AND we start to see the advertising industry sneeking around. We are becoming mainstream. The advertisers no longer consider digital signage as competition, but rather start to embrace us.
YES, there is a real market. YES, there is a real community. AND YES, there is business, even these days, or shouldn’t I say “specially these days”?
Bottom line after the first day of DSE: it’s a central event in the market, attracting players from all over the world and market and we had terriffic traffic and new business leads with tangible potential.
