For those of you who have never been in a trade show hall, before the trade show, it’s an ugly, hectic, smelly mess…and honestly it’s not the workers, it’s the forklifts running liquid petroleum. The blessing for this Vegas trade show, of which I’ve done my fair share, is that it’s February and quite pleasant. The implication here is that usually you’re sweating profusely…the A/C doesn’t get turned on until show day. We had a bad start when upon arriving we found both of our shipping crates had been badly damaged. The good news is that at least most of stuff arrived, compared to some of the other companies. It was a long day, including travel, and we have a longer day tomorrow. For now we’re off to shop, for universal mounts, and get some dinner.
