It is the early hours of Tuesday morning and most people are still feeling the effects of InfoComm’s Big Night which was a bash and a half. That was fun, but later today the real reason why we are here begins.
There is a real buzz in the air, but what would you expect when there are 860 exhibitors! From the A&S Case Company to Zener International everyone is here, packed into 815,000 square feet of convention center.
For those who are attending their first InfoComm, expect the first day to be hectic, which probably isn’t doing it justice. The pace is so intense and furious that you wonder how you will get the next two days.
Have seen a number of press releases flying around about who to watch at Infocomm. Here is a sampling from Lighthouse Technologies, NewSoft and C-nario.
As for us, we are presenting our next generation of player-to-screen extension and distribution solutions for digital signage otherwise known as the DS Vision 3000 and the DS OpticVision.
The DS Vision 3000 is a CATx based distribution system delivering HD video and digital stereo-audio content to multiple screens up to 1000 ft (300m) away. It features full serial control allowing administrators to remotely query and turn on and off the displays, and for the first time, provides central management of player-to-screen signal transfer.
The DS OpticVision is a long range, optical fiber extension and distribution system that can be used in conjunction with the DS Vision 3000. The system extends multimedia transmissions up to 19 miles (30km) between the media player and LCD/plasma screens, without loss of signal.
If you are looking for out-of-band, point-to-multi-point hardware distribution systems with full serial control as well as long-range audio and video extension, drop by to Booth 5940 in Hall B and we’ll give you a demonstration.
And if you are really nice, we might even throw in a gift bag.
