Previewing the Digital Signage Expo

After posting about the Keynote Breakfast speech at the upcoming Digital Signage Expo, I thought I would continue on that track and over the next week, preview all 20 sessions.

Connections or Clutter? opens things off and looks at what the best strategic approaches and research tools are for measuring results and concept renewal.
Herb Sorenson from Sorensen Associates is moderating. Additionally on the panel you have Rajeev Sharma of VideoMining Corp, Reflect Systems’ Rebecca Walt and Carol Shea of DecisionPoint Media Insights.

Sessions 2, 3 and 4 are all taking place at the same time as Session 1 so that means some decisions are required as to where you go.

Session 2 is Future Visions and is an insight into what the latest in Digital Signage is. Peter Augusta of Fastrak Retail is moderating with Studio IMC’s Tony Rizzaro by his side.

Session 3 is Defining a New Media. This will put digital signage under the microscope and try to calculate where its place in the rapidly-changing media landscape will be.
Al McClain (registration required) of RetailWire (registration required) is moderating and alongside him will be BP America’s Jane Stricker, David Daniels of ABC New Media and Professor John Greening from Northwestern University.

7 Seconds to Impact is Session 4 and this will spell out how to make an impact in the extremely limited time one has to reach out to a potential customer. Moderating will be Vanessa Hartnoll from Impetus Consulting. Axel Vera of Televisa Mexico and MetHodder’s Kent Hodder make up the rest of the panel.
